Andrew Hogan  This New Orleans trip was very interesting. The most enjoyable part was the bus tour all around the city.  We went from the slums of the Ninth Ward all the way to St. Charles street and saw the brighter side of the city.  We visited the Tulane University and Southern University of New Orleans, and they both had different effects from Katrina. SUNO took a major hit and lost buildings. Now they teach out of trailers. Tulane did not take nearly as much damage and are rebounding and increasing enrollment each year.  We also visited with the Make it Right foundation, organized by Brad Pitt, Hero Farm and other entrepreneurship foundations.  Also we took a swamp tour and learned the ways of the swamp and many interesting facts about gators and the resources of the Bayou.  I would recommend going on this trip again it was very interesting and worthwhile.
